what no title!!

Thursday 10:42am
one book
two books
three books
four books
and lotsa of books
God gives me these books!!
Kami-Siah Papa !!

okay
been a long while since i last updated
b/c ive been busy
b/c ive been lazy
in updating this space that is.
lots have taken place since then

we had the
Republic Polytechnic Bookfair 30thJune 1stJuly 3rdJuly 4thJuly
results: the sales over there were terrible
apparently it seems no one is into Fiction & Literature
except for the librarians, a few students, and fewer lecturers
yes gasp, what, lecturers aren't bookworms
still we managed to break even
but the time invested could have been better used
the only positive we could confidently bring away
is that we gave away 200 Oh Goodie! Bags
so its like 200 students were exposed to the BooksActually brand

then we had the
Singapore Tourism Board Bookfair 15thJuly
results: sales was good
response was good in that
almost everyone asked where the Bookstore was located
which we do not have, YET!
roughly a crowd of 80 people were exposed to the brand name

then next up was the
production of 1600 Oh Goodie! Bags for the
NUS Matriculation Fair 2005 25thJuly 26thJuly 27thJuly 28thJuly
given out
under the direction of the NUS Literary Society
so lots of sleep was sacrificed
in fact,
Karen & i didn't sleep much at all towards the final 4days of production
no wait,
i dont remember us sleeping at all
1600 Oh Goodie! Bags
made by two pairs of hands, in one week's time
seriously a killer
but Mister God got us thru
and
results: FARKING BRILLIANT!!
by consensus of the entire NUS Matric organisers
we had the best Oh Goodie! Bag given out
we had beaten the likes of Singtel & Pokka, and many more
and we had helped NUS Lit Soc
signed up nearly 300 new members for the coming year
so THANKYOU Mister God

Upcoming
10thAugust
NUS Literary Society Welcome Tea Party!!
we will be there mingling with the new Lit Soc members
giving name cards
drinking tea
and making myself look as silly as possible

13thAugust Saturday, along Singapore River
organised by the National Heritage Board
known as the National Heritage Walk

in conjunction with post-National Day celebrations
we are holding a Bookfair with 19 other vendors
within the SIngapore River - Boat Quay area
we will be
giving out 500 Oh Goodie! Bags to the public
and the launch of a new so-called-books-related product from BooksActually
the time is from 4pm to 10pm
but we will be there from 12pm onwards
selling our beloved books
and giving out those Oh Goodie! Bags

In the Short-Term Future
talk to Mister God abit more
in fact much much more
pray for the bookstore being a reality
and tell Karen that i love her more & more everyday
since
she is forgetful
and she keeps on calling me a FATTY!!
when im not
okay maybe i might have gained some weight
from eating too much Macs
but hey, im no Fatty
well, you dont see me calling my NZ-PA a fatty!!

and lastly,
PA take care of yourself orh
catch me some kiwi birds
catch me some hobbits
and mail it all back to me
we miss you already
as in clearing all the work here
ahahahah!!
anything call me on my mobile
remember im just 4 hours behind you
